Forum meeting 9 November 2006
The fourteenth meeting of the Minister’s State/Local Government Forum was held on 9 November at the Local Government Association. Major topics of discussion included South Australia's Strategic Plan, Stormwater Management and Flood Mitigation, Community Wastewater Management Systems, Country Taxis and the Financial Sustainability of Local Government.
Minister McEwen attended the meeting to inform members of the current drought situation in South Australia and its implications for regions seeking Exceptional Circumstances status from the Australian Government.
Ms Tanya Smith, Executive Director, Office of the Executive Committee of Cabinet addressed the Forum to provide information of the progress on updating South Australia's Strategic Plan.
