Forum meeting 11.03.03
Third Minister’s Local Government Forum meeting at the City of Marion Cultural Centre
This meeting continued the discussion on stormwater management and flood mtigation from the first two Forum meetings. Forum members agreed to the establishment of a high level group consisting of the Executive Director of the Local Government Association, the Chief Executive of the Department of Transport and Urban Planning and the Chief Executive of the Department of Water Land and Biodiversity Conservation to be established in order to further progress the issue. The State Government doubled funding to the Catchment Management Subsidy Scheme for four years in response to the discussion of the Forum on Stormwater Management.

- State - Local Financial Relations
- Disposal of Surplus Land
- Coastal Boundaries
Forum members were also briefed on the Economic Growth Summit and the State Housing Plan.
